Dreams

Today I will talk about dreams, i think is an interesting topic because dreams can express different meanings. This is caused by our brain that makes us see a lot of diverse images and nonsense situations. In generally I don't remember what i dream but i can do it when i wake up from a nightmare.

Dreams can also tell you about what you want to do in the future, thinking what i want is very important to me because it defined the way that you want to follow and it help to find the actions. For example in a hypothetical case in which I would had a lot of money I would travel to many places in the world, to see the ways in which people of those places understand life and solve their problems, and with all the money i would help them to solve their economic problems.

My favorite piece of technology

Today I am going to talk about my favorite piece of technology: the netbook. The netbook is the small version of a notebook, rather, a small portable computer. I have a netbook since three years ago when my mother gave me as a birthday gift. For me is very important because it allows me to have all my personal things and i can to move them easily. Often I use my netbook to carry important documents and my favorite music, as well as connect in anywhere with my friends or find information you need at the time.

I like the notebook because it is easy to transport by cause of its small size, fits in any medium backpack or bag. The only bad thing might have is that it has not an entry for cds, but that at present is not as important because the information can also be stored in pendrive. Without the netbook, my life would be much more complicated to transport information or to put my music together with friends in different places.

Hello, today I want to talk about a very important subject: music. For me music is very important because it can make special any time and can also upload the mood on bad days. Personally, I like all kinds of music except electronics. A few years ago buying original cds (when a group I liked), and pirated cds, but today it is not necessary, because now can be downloaded full albums  from the Internet without complications. I remember in English classes when I was in eighth grade I did learn "Imagine" by John Lennon and was very entertaining.

Now, when I'm home alone, I like to increase the volume of music and singing too loud, but I do it very badly. In my opinion, the music for the world because it does a better place, it is also a means to express emotions and makes many people happy.

Today I will refer to one of my favorite bands, Deftones. This is an American band that was born in the 1980s, their music is classified as alternative metal, but they blend different styles. The members of this band are Chino Moreno (singer), Stephen Carpenter (guitar player), Abe Cunningham (drummer), Chi Cheng (bass player) and Frank Delgado (samplers) .I like this group because their songs are intense and relaxing, and make me feel many sensations. My favorite song is "Beauty School", because i loved his rhythm and the lyrics of a song, and also because I have many memories of good times with this song. Fortunately, I could hear this band the fest machinery 2012 in Santiago, it was fabulous.

Hi, my name is Amanda, i was born in Santiago and grew up in Maipú. I went to Santa Maria de Maipú School. In the year 2004, i moved to an apartment in Santiago Centro with my mother. I started  Liceo 1 high-school and i graduated in 2009. After I finnished the high-school, i studied Anthropology at Universidad de Chile. Now I am in third year and chose the specialty of social anthropology. 

I am only child and I live with my mother. We are a small family, but very united. I like to do many things, for example, I love out with my friends, I like traveling in Chile y swimming in the university pool. I hate have to read while i have be sleepy.
